BACKGROUND
Although short but within a
decade time of business experiences, initially we went
underway the business in 1997, under the title of Southern
Metal Industry Company Limited, SMI, which is situated in
South Dagon Myothit Industrial Zone (1). In a form of
parallel business counterpart to SMI, however, a separate
independent company under the title of Asia Metal Company,
AMC, was established in 2004.
VISION
AMC’s Vision is to put
forward for further enhance national prosperity and
competitiveness with the ultimate destiny to positioning AMC
as a major player in Myanmar construction industry.

AMC is currently situated in Shwe Pyi Thar Industrial Zone
(4), Shwe Pyi Thar Township, Yangon Division, Myanmar. We
are currently running the three specific businesses with the
skilled technicians and workforce of 1,000; majority are the
former employees of SMI, who are provided with special
beneficial programs such as subsidized accommodation,
healthcare and other relevant social assistance.
